Cold
When the weather gets real cold, it doesn't seem to change the way I act. It doesn't matter if it's -10 or 60, I am still going to wear a t-shirt and jeans. Now if it's -10 I will wear the heaviest coat I own, and if it's 60 I might wear a sweatshirt or light jacket. I would also wear something that covers my head in -10 weather. In the fall, I walked over to Mcelroy dorms every day, and now since I have comeback form break, I have driven over. The coldness doesn't affect my decision to do something, just the way I do it. All-in-all, I hate the cold. I don't even like the snow anymore. I wish it was warm and sunny.

"Mr. Roboto" by Styx
It was warm summers night and my family and I were just driving back home from the cities. My brother was driving, so we had to listen to all of his songs on his mp3 player. Most of the songs were just this hard rap music. Song after song, all we would hear is this fast past, high base, mumbling of songs. And then it came on. The coolest sounding song I had ever heard. This song is not like any other song you here on the radio, partially because the song is from the 80s and you don't here that kind of music anymore. But mainly because it is from the band Styx, the best band I have ever heard, and I have heard a lot of music. I can't even describe the sound, frankly because I don't know how they get that sound. But it sounded futuristic, like it was robots talking some of the time, hence the name "Mr. Roboto. After I was done listening to this masterpiece, I stopped and thought, what just happen? What was that, I need to listen to it again. Now I usually have to listen to a song about five times before I start to like, but this one was different.
The first, I would say 10 times I listened to this song I got goosebumps all up and down my arm. It was at the same part too, the climax of the song. But I had a tough time finding the song because I was young and didn't know how to surf the internet. Then one day while in my dad's car I found a CD. "Styx Greatest Hits", I will never forget the day, June 30, 2004. I was sitting in the parking lot waiting to see Spiderman 2. I turned right to "Mr. Roboto" and couldn't help but smile. Then I stole that CD from my dad and he hasn't seen it sense.

Favorite Place
I am sitting in a hard chair, my shoes are sticking to the ground, it smells like hot dogs and beer, and there is 56,000 people around me screaming. It sounds like heaven to me. This place is sitting in the Metrodome in at a Twins playoff game. Nothing in the world is more exciting, your up your down, you don't know what to do with yourself. When the game is going well, there is nothing better in the world, it gets so loud in the dome my ears are ringing and I love every second of it. I get goosebumps all over my body because you can't believe how great this is. But when the game is not going well, there is not much worse in the world. I feel helpless, I would rather go to English class (just kidding). But the downs are good because that makes the ups feel so much better.
